Larry, I encourage you or anyone else living within the Miami-Dade Christmas Bird Count circle to contribute backyard bird sightings to tomorrow's CBC. If you live anywhere in the city of Miami, or in the Brickell area, Coconut Grove (north of Kennedy Park), Shenandoah, Little Havana, Miami Beach, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens, Hialeah (east of 12th Avenue), Opa-Locka, North Miami or North Miami Beach, you likely live within the count circle. Email me at brianrapoza@aol.com if you're unsure. Sightings cam be emailed to me or posted on the BirdBoard. Please include the names of all birds you were able to identify, the number of individuals of each bird species seen, the amount of time you spent counting the birds and the location where you saw the birds (a specific address is not necessary; the general area should suffice in most cases). Thanks to all who choose to contribute their efforts to this important citizen science endeavor!
