The park is closed, but there is a solution. You can park south of 595 at the gas station or Burger King and then walk down the paved canal path (southern edge of Markham). The nature trail and butterfly garden are accessible from the canal. The Spindalis was active and easily ID (Bruce P., Steven K. and two other birders got great views) this morning from 815-830 and then disapppeared into the dense foliage on the eastern edge of the butterfly garden. Hopefully that helps anyone chasing, Matt
