Common Nighthawk becomes quite scarce at this time of year as most have migrated south. Lesser Nighthawk is a rare bird in south Florida but does show up every winter but mostly in wilder areas. I don't think that the habitat is very suitable for a Lesser Nighthawk at A.D.Barnes. My guess is that you saw a late migrating Common Nighthawk. Larry Manfredi
