Savegre is a special place. The local chamber of commerce has a deal with the quetzals, I think. They are there in abundance-so much so that after a day of observing and photographing them-including a displaying pair of males--they become yard birds. other good stuff there too photos and some poor videos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/joelnrosenthal/albums/72157622757794985 comfortable place to stay, good food and easy birding right on the grounds(where most of the photos were taken).
