Good evening Joe, Through 2014, there have been 48 photographic, audio/video, or specimen records in Florida of the Tropical/Couch's kingbird complex. Eleven of these records can be specifically identified as Tropical Kingbird based on recorded vocalizations. In 2013, 2014, and 2015, a female Tropical Kingbird bred with one or more male Gray Kingbirds at Sarasota and successfully fledged young each year.
