I had 6 Brown Noddies actually walking on So. Fort Lauderdale Beach by the Yankee Clipper about 30 minutes before Katrina made landfall.I then looked east and saw a BIG White wall about 1- 2 miles out.That does Not look good,I thought. I'll never forget it.By the time I crossed A1A and got to work at Bahia Cabana I got hit with a gust that pushed me at least 10 feet.It was about 5ish and I think they eye passed over Hollywood around 5:30.All lifers are memorable but those Noddies are at he top of my list..
