Kerry Ross (California) and I conducted a bird survey this morning in Long Key State Park from 6:30-10:30. We tallied a number of vocalizing warblers overhead before dawn, along with Bobolinks.

We had high numbers of Chuck-will's-Widows (about 30), hundreds of Eastern Kingbirds, Red-eyed Vireos, Least Flycatcher, Eastern Wood-Pewee, Veery, and twelve warbler species (Prothonotary and Blackburnian being highlights).
