I have a wedding to go to this afternoon so I couldn't go with TAS on their
trip to ??? so I decide to go and look for the Golden Eagle and maybe a panther
on Loop Road. Before I reached Loop Road, at the abandoned air boat ride just
after the entrance to ENP - Shark Valley, I spotted a Snail Kite perched. It was at the same location that Toe and I saw one last summer. I
tried to get my camera together quickly, but only got a couple of shots off
before it flew. I saw no eagles or panthers, but the Snail Kite made the trip
well worth it.
