Sited today 9/1/2014 around 5:00 to 5:30pm had to leave after that.
In the past every year the migrating martins stop by our neighborhood in the Oakland Forest area for 1-5 days and visit our complex adjacent to them for 1-2 afternoons for a few hours. We have three lush garden courtyards but with enough open spaces for them to do their aerial acrobats. All the local mocking birds where calling these surprised one call chirps from one territory to the other but staying put for the most part. To my cats in the screened in porch it was kitty TV. When I came back 1 hr later they where gone.
