Hi all.

I just wanted to update you about some recent sightings in PBC of late. On Sunday morning I had a Black Rail calling out at the Holey Land WMA underneath the powerlines before dawn.

Today I spent a good amount of time watching the ocean. I didn't have any luck at the Boynton Beach Inlet but then went down to join Brian H. in Delray Beach where he previously had a Sooty Tern flyby. We watched the ocean for a while and had a handful more of tropical terns flyby, a couple of which were confirmed as Sooty. I then had some Common Terns flyby a bit later on.

I also went to Snook Islands today and had the continuing white morph Reddish Egret as well as the continuing Wilson's Plover. There I had 5 tern species (Royal, Sandwich, Least, Caspian, and Black). This made for a 7 tern species day!

Happy birding all.
Corey Callaghan
