Shiny Cowbirds haven't been seen at Brigg's Nature Center in over three years to my knowledge. The center is no longer a part of the Conservancy of SW Florida either as far as I can tell. The FFWCC has an office there now. Whether they've resolved the potable water issues is unknown. Lastly, the Florida Scrub-Jays that were once easy to find there are now very difficult as well. why, I don't know.
: They used to be reliable at the Briggs Nature Center(Naples on the way to Marco Island) when they kept a feeder. I haven't seen them last 2 times I went since they chose not to have a feeder any more. Paddy
: : Hi folks,

: : I haven't seen any reports of Shiny cowbirds lately. Are they still being seen in Flamingo? Is anything being seen there? I was wondering if there are any reliable spots to find them in south Florida.
