To the gentleman birder we met at the end of the trail and the rest of you:
Our family was blessed w/ a bug-free stroll down Snake Bight Trail resulting in a view at low tide. As soon as our new birding friend left, a very large flock of shorebirds (sorry, no spotting scope!) took flight in a beautiul swirling and
wheeling display through which a peregrine falcon stooped successfully. It then turned back, grabbing a stunned or dead bird off the flats and heading into the mangroves for dinner.
