One to two black rails were singing right at sunrise today and also on Monday 7/28 when I went to check on the Cape Sable seaside sparrow population that breeds along both sides of Main Park Road, south of Mahogany Hammock in Everglades National Park. The sparrows, on the other hand, have gotten very quiet.
