Hi there,
Had a chance to do a drive to Western Palm Beach County area this past Sunday afternoon. Have been busy and haven't had the time to submit a list yet but I will (ebird). Had at least 45 species ( can't quite tell the different peeps in their different plumages).

There were some newly arrival birds.
Near STA1E - had a Snail Kite (m)on the wires.

On SR 880 by STA1W - had the first of the season Belted KINGFISHER (m) on the wires as well. Along the same wires down the road saw at least a dozen Common Nighthawks.

On Gladeview Rd. a few miles down the road . had the following:
Some White American Pelicans
Estimating 80 Roseate Spoonbills and 100 Wood Storks
Barn Swallow They have arrived with some force. I'd say easily 100.
Tree Swallow a few
Gull-billed Tern 2 at a distance
Short-biled Dowitchers - Several in one area.
Lesser Yellowlegs - several in one area.
BLACK Tern - single bird putting quite a show as it gracefully dipped into the water several times (lost most of the black already).

Down the road CR880 and Six-Mile Bend Sod Fields had:
Some Killdeer
Some Semipalmated Plovers
Some Least Sandpipers
PECTORAL Sandpipers about 24

Twenty minutes later .at Sam Senter Road I was about ready to wrap things up when at the last second I spotted a KING Rail - I am estimating it to be an immature one (lacking rich colors on chest). It caught me by surprise I did not even think about changing settings on my camera as I was trying to avoid the incoming storm.

It was surely worth seeing fresh new bird faces after several months!

Best,
Marcello
