Wednesday late afternoon produced my first passerine migrant of the season, yellow-throated warbler, at Pinetree Park. Prbably there for a few days already, but haven't been out birding recently. Later, a white-crowned pigeon flew over I-95 just south of the SW 7 st exit. Yes, should have been paying attention to driving, but a glance showed the dark body and prominent crown as it headed eastward. I've seen these birds in this area occasionally. Neat with the city skyline and foliage as the backdrop in early evening.
