I went diving today off lauderdale by the sea. We couldn't have been a mile offshore. When I surfaced at the end of the dive, a bird flew by a few feet off the water, heading south. It was fairly close to me, I got a good look at it, but i wasn't really focused on birds at that moment, and I can't think of anything else it could be. I have never been to the dry tortugas, so I am not familiar with noddies, and I didn't think they occured up here. I've fished offshore a lot, and never seen one. Is that possible? Would that be considered a vagrant? I thought I had a pretty good handle on broward birds
