This is a bit of a late post, but my wife and I found the ani Saturday afternoon (7/12) around 4:15. We located it almost immediately after we arrived perched in a large clump of bushes a couple hundred yards further up the perimeter road from the Australian pines, and it gave us really nice looks as it perched in the open and preened, and even called a bit. Thanks so much to everyone on the board for posting updates and such great directions!
