Hi all,
Had a chance of checking up on the Cliff Swallows on Conners Rd. in Western Palm Beach on the way to Muck City. Many immatures have been out and about and I was able to get some decent shot this time.

I was able to spot a couple of Tree Swallows on Brown's Farm Rd. on the wires back in late June. As I understand, they do not breed in Florida. The one I got was a female - they show their brown on their backs within the first 2 years I read somewhere. The other one was a male but the lighting was bad for photo.

Further up the road there were some other Swallows Barn Swallows and I couldn't give you more specifics since they were too busy zipping by swallowing bugs.

Onto to other Swallows Several Swallow-tailed Kites were flying near the southeast corner on the edge of Lake Okeechobee. I had a shot from a few days ago, one of them seemed to be winking at me:).

Found an immature Brown-headed Cowbird grazing and swallowing some minuscule bits of food right on the beach sand.

A few days later there were some bigger fish flying near the shore in pursuit to swallow some smaller ones. On the same day, a Snowy Egret was on the beach trying to swallow a fish in mid-air.

Finally, some time ago a Sanderling attempting to swallow a whole tiny fish. If you look, it looked like to be its tongue but it's not upon closer inspection.

These are the bites for today. Don't worry, they'll be very easy to swallow!
