On 6/27/14 I was in a parking lot in downtown Miami waiting for someone when I saw several small sparrows on the ground and in trees. I assumed they were house sparrows but when I got a good look at one of them they had a dark brown throat and chest. It was the same size as a house sparrow but the coloring was not a house sparrow. I couldn't find a small sparrow with a dark brown chest in my books and software. Anyone have a guess as to what this bird may be. I have an iphone picture (poor) but it shows the coloring?
