You can park at the gravel lot on the west side of Old Cutler. If you are traveling south on Old Cutler you will see the lot right after the light for Matheson Hammock Park. From the southern end of this parking area, walk the trail leading NW, you will eventually come out to an open field where you should be able to get your bearings. The oak grove Trey has highlighted will be behind the officer's trailer. On occasion this same officer has told birders that they are not welcomed, just a warning. While in this area keep an eye out for Hill Myna, parakeets, macaws and even Great-Horned Owl. You guys will love it!
