At Snook Island, the American Oystercatchers chicks are growing just fine. They are about 6 weeks old. Still dependent on both of their parents now for retrieving oysters for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Before only the male was getting food and since the birds are growing fast both parents are busier than ever.

What else? Many male Snail Kites were present early in the morning at Loxahatchee NWR. I was able to spot three on the same tree. At the time lighting wasn't optimal but it was amazing to see three in one tree posing and chilling.

Posting my own bird's eye view of Florida - would make any bird be jealous of me:) Approaching view of Fort Lauderdale I believe.
