Thank you, Angel and Mariel, for the tips today. We followed the routes you suggested, and had a great time.

At first it was rough going because there were no warblers. I commented to my son, "I miss the warblers."

We ended the day under the western oaks at the playground, where we spent at least an hour (my son's a little boy after all), and my son spotted a small bird moving through the surrounding short trees: a female Redstart!

My son asked me to tell everyone that "the last warbler has gone!"

We were thinking of you, Abreus, as well when we were constantly singing "Another cardinal"!
