The orioles become much more conspicuous by April when they are tending to nests/young. In the winter, they lay low and aren't too vocal.
In the Miami Shores area, I was getting them at the intersection of NE 94 Street and NE 5 Avenue. In nearby Biscayne Park, I have had a pair regularly at the intersection of NE 115 Street and NE 8th Avenue. Another pair is around NE 118th Street and West Biscayne Canal Rd (east of Barry University).
