I don't have photos but it had bright yellow underparts fading to a whitish throat, slightly olive sides to the breast, a grey crown with a darker grey mask. Bill was huge and the broad, shallowly forked tail was evenly brown. No vocalizations.
I saw the bird this morning around 1000, foraging on the wires and fence on either side of the road south of Lucky Hammock, just before the locked yellow South Florida Water Management District gate.
