The south parking lot for the boat ramp at Matheson Hammock County Park had several large puddles this morning with various shorebirds, including a White-rumped Sandpiper.
Other shorebirds includes Semipalmated Sandpiper, Semipalmated Plover, and Killdeer. The mangroves in the surrounding area had lots of migrants of the following species: American Redstart, Blackpoll Warbler, and Northern Waterthrush. Many of the American Redstarts were singing!
