Everglades Update

I've been waiting for a link on the park page to post this.

Additional portions of Everglades National Park, including the Flamingo visitor's center, campground, and Florida Bay boat ramp, are expected to open tomorrow. The link gives a list of most areas that are currently open (or closed).

Eco Pond remains on the closed list. The viewing platform is no longer considered safe (this was already true after Katrina, and Wilma did not improve matters). I do not know if they are allowing people to walk around the pond.
