Hi all. This evening I went to Seacrest Scrub Natural Area in Boynton Beach (http://www.pbcgov.com/erm/natural/natural-areas/seacrest-scrub/) after and during the rain to look for warblers. I was delighted to find the subject bird and managed to get some photographs after I had to run back to my vehicle for the camera. The bird is an adult male and striking.
If interested in trying for this bird, enter the area from the parking lot and proceed onto the sandy trail and you have to split off of the sidewalk trail. Continue on this sandy trail for about 200 yards and you will pass an intersection with steaks that have yellow reflectors on it. About 20 yards past this intersection I marked an area on the trail with two sticks and this is the general area I observed the bird. The bird was observed from about 6:15 PM till 7:15 PM when I left.
