I went to Dolphin Mall yesterday to search for the Purple Swamphens. I found four at the western pond there. Also had Palm Warbler, Tricolored Heron, Pied-billed Grebe and a very aggressive male Boat-tailed Grackle that barely missed my head several times.

Driving around the Doral area I found a smelly pond next to some sort of industrial plant which contained a couple of nesting Black-necked Stilts. Also in the area had Purple Martins and a pair of Rough-winged Swallows perched on a wire.

Kendall Indian Hammocks was very quiet. Found a male Redstart, White-crowned Pigeons and nesting Red-bellied Woodpeckers.

Cave Swallows (5) were seen at the canal west of SW 107 Ave and Sunset Dr.
