My last post was premature as the evening 'birdcam' check showed a male Indigo and a full red Painted. Yesterday though only the orange breasted Painted Bunting and one greenie was on camera, + 1 female Indigo. A common Yellow-throat at 8:17 am and at 6:44pm and a male Redstart in the middle of the afternoon. Plenty of catbirds still. Previous record for buntings in the yard was 4/25 as I recall.
Saw a White Pelican between 1st and second bays on Lostman's River yesterday and another at Myrzak Pond near Flamingo. Imm. Gannet off Broad River., and 3 Mergansers off Onion Key
