This was a real surprise, c. 5:30 PM today. The bird flew into a large dead tree next to Griffing Road, 3 or 4 houses south of Dixie Hwy. It preened for a couple of minutes, then flew off to the southeast (also a surprise). BTW two Spot-breasteds in the areas too.
