It has been undergoing restoration for years (from what, I don't know). You can see all the new plantings they've done - it looks wonderful. A sign posted on the fence says it will open soon. Let us hope.
It's such a beautiful park, "a jewel" to quote dear Dr. Paul George. Them voodoo people gotta go though, seriously.
