As of 5:45a.m. tall thunderheads are passing over our home in NW Dade. Radar data shows us signals moving in from the south just before the first of the rain bands made it to the coast. Moving on a tailwind these birds may be able to outrun the storms, but those that arrive late will have to put down. At this time it looks as if coastal migrant traps from South Dade to Palm Beach may see some increase in migrant activity today.
