Yesterday I worked from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm as the Greeter for the Fairchild's Spring Festival. I was stationed at the Lowlands entrance near the Chickee Hut. While working my volunteer shift I heard 3 or 4 male Cardinals singing and saw one female. I also saw 3 Chimney Swifts, 3 Black Vultures, several Turkey Vultures, a Gray Catbird, a Little Blue Heron, a Green Heron, several Fish Crows, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, and an Osprey. The Osprey lit on a Royal Palm frond and stayed there about 20 minutes giving me time to point it out to some visitors.
