I spent about an hour and a half in the late morning today at A.D. Barnes Park in search of migrants. Although it seemed quiet at first and the total number of warbler individuals was very low, I managed to scrape up 13 warbler species. Nearly all were singletons quietly foraging in the main hammock, although the 'tseet' calls of Worm-eating Warblers kept giving each feeding flock away. Here is the list:
Common Yellowthroat
Northern Waterthrush
Ovenbird: 2
Worm-eating Warbler: 4
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Black-throated Blue Warbler: 3
Northern Parula: 2
Yellow-throated Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Prairie Warbler: 2
Blackpoll Warbler
Cape May Warbler
No other passage migrants other than warblers were seen during my stay.
