Arch Creek Park in North Miami had a number of warblers this afternoon, mostly along the road. Most birds were coming to-and-from the nearby Enchanted Forest Park. Among nine warbler species was yet another sharp male Hooded Warbler. It was working the understory just south of the fire pit. Listen for it's sharp, metallic call note, which carries farther than most calls of other warbler species. There were at least 15 Prairie Warblers.

Other Neotropical migrants included Ruby-throated Hummingbird (1), Chuck-will's-widow (1), Blue-headed Vireo (1), Eastern Kingbird (2) and Gray Catbird (5).

Gray Kingbirds have returned to a few areas of Biscayne Boulevards, and two pairs of White-winged Parakeets were socializing in my backyard as I returned home.
