Nine participants join me for the Greynolds Bird Walk which resulted in the observation of 27 species of birds including 9 species of warblers. Thanks to the sharp ears and eyes of Alex Harper, the group got to see a very colorful male Magnolia Warbler. We also caught a glimpse of an Eastern Screech Owl in a hallow of a Live Oak before it settled down for its day-long slumber. Many of the birds were tuning up for spring - Some of the singing birds were N. Parula, Black-throated BLue Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Palm Warbler, N. Catbirds, N. Cardinals, and a Blue-headed Vireo. There were several flocks of Cedar Waxwings in the park as well. Thanks to all for your participation and contribution to the walk. Join me on April 26, for the Enchanted Forest/Arch Creek Park TAS Bird Walk starting at 7:30am.
