This morning, on a trip where I was doing more talking than looking/listening, I still saw real signs that migration is ramping up: there were a couple of Ovenbirds, and three Black-necked Stilts, so obvious that I couldn't miss them. Also had great views of those 'secretive' winter visitors, an American Bittern, and several Soras.
