Wintering warblers are mostly continuing, with some numbers wanning (Yellow-rumped) and others incrasing (Prairie, Ovenbid). Many are in a feeding flock thhat moves around the park. On Wed, they were in Homeless Hammock (along with a vocal Summer Tanager);; on Thursday near the Old Butterfly Garden.
Also had FOS Swallow-tailed Kites (2) swoop low over Homeless Hammock.
For the 2nd straight year I rescued a warbler that was trapped in an orb weaver's web! On Thursday it was a Palm Waarbler; like last year's Blackpoll, it had gotten its legs/feet hopelessly tangled and then worked its wings into the mix annd endeed up hanging there in the web.
