Let us not forget our other native parrot that is facing extinction- the thick billed parrot. I am working with Chris Brio, Constance Woodman, - google Bird Recovery International. I am also donating exhibit at the Navaho Zoo in Window Rock Ariz of the thick bills as the birds are sacred to the Navajo people and figure predominantly in their culture, myths and art. Having trouble finding any breeding pairs left.
