Three mixed warbler flocks around Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP indicated a start to spring migration. The flocks consisted of Northern Parula, Prairie, Black-and-white, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow-throated, Palm, Ovenbird and Magnolia. (Minus one parula due to a hungry Merlin.) There were 42 Northern Parulas - a warm-up compared to the 524 that Doug Gochfeld and I counted 4 years ago.
