watching this bird around my pool and garden all morning and I can't ID it. Very active in air, ground, shrub and trees snatching flying and stationary insects from the ground and bushes, this bird also hovers over the pool and removes insects from the surface! Very slate/dark gray all over, lighter, whiteish breast, some striping on sides of breast (juvenile?) White eyestripe. Bigger and more slender than most warblers, slender longish tail maybe with a faint fork. Most prominent feature, hidden when hopping on the ground or perching by folded wings (gray primaries lightly edged in white)is a large lemon yellow patch on rump. Black legs and small black feet. Never seen this bird in my garden, there is a mate I can't get a sight of in the bushes. What is it? I can't find it in any of my books!
