Yesterday morning I was at the oak grove at Matheson Hammock and saw the La Sagra's Flycatcher at about 10:15 by the bathrooms actively feeding and occasionally calling. Some other highlights were Sharp-shinned Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk, White-crowned Pigeon, Red-masked Parakeet, Yellow-chevroned Parakeet, RT Hummingbird, Belted Kingfisher, Gnatcatcher, Yellow-throated and Blue-headed Vireos, Gray Catbird, Hill Myna, and only 2 warbler species: Black-and-white and many Yellow-rumped.

At Kendall Indian Hammocks this morning highlights were Sharp-shinned Hawk, White-crowned Pigeon, White-winged Parakeet (2 overhead), Blue-and-yellow Macaws (3 overhead), Gnatcatchers, Gray Catbird, N. Parula (many), Black-throated Green Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler (very numerous), Palm Warbler, Prairie Warbler and a female Redstart.
