There are still 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls here on Key Biscayne. Two of them neatly fit into the Second-winter category. The third one has head, mantle and scapulars more like a Third-winter gull, but bare parts more likely fall within the range of Second-winter. I was unable to see the tail on this gull.

Other birds: Herring Gull (First-summer), a few Royal Terns, Laughing Gulls, Black-bellied Plovers, Semipalmated Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones, Sanderlings. Least Terns seem to be nesting again on Key Colony roof. 6-7 Frigatebirds can be seen from Rickenbacker Causeway.
