Check the Broward Audubon web site under Broward Hot spots. Instead of looking for a specific bird and where to find it on tropical site, it tells you about hot spots and what you are likely to see there. Also the best resource is Pranty's newly revised Birding in Florida. If you have an idea where you are staying or specific birds you are looking for it can narrow our numerous hot spots down to the best "bang for bucks" Good luck. Paddy

: My daughter and I will have an opportunity to come down to Miami (South Beach) at the end of March. We hope to join the TAS group for the 1/2 day walk in Matheson Hammock Park for the morning of April 1.
: Can anyone suggest any other birding hotspots that we shouldn't miss in our very short stay? We would like to see and photograph as many of your tropical birds as we can, that we don't get to see here in Canada. We are amateur birders and are members of several birding associations here. We would appreciate any assistance and information, thank you.
