Saturday afternoon I didn't have any luck with the chat - tried three different times at 12:30, 1:30 and about 3pm - waited him out for 30 minutes or so each time to no avail. Plenty of catbirds and yellow-rumpeds...a few other warblers around.
The whip-poor-will was where advertised, apparently not moving much from 8am until 2:30pm, according to another birder who was set up there for 6+ hours watching it - it just occasionally opened an eye, looked around, and occasionally wobbled in place every once in a while.
Great looks at the harrier very actively hunting the grounds, and a young red-shoulder.
