Scott and I share some good views on both the Eastern Whip-poor-will near the gazebo on the south side (hammock area). I thank Linda Fell for spotting this difficult bird.
Then we saw an American Bittern biting and swallowing a snake - too many obstructions to get a great shot.
On the way out, as I was talking to Scott he quickly spotted the Yellow-breasted Chat on the same location that people have seen before (and where I last saw it last year). Left side as soon as you take 20 steps into the boardwalk at the entrance of Green Cay.
If it is true that a picture is worth a thousand words, then I must have about 35K since I last posted here six weeks ago.
After seeing and imaging the Eastern Whip-poor-will, I celebrated the achievement with a six-inch Tuna sandwich and an Ice tea at Subway. My bad, Toe:)
