This morning I intended to hit Lucky Hammock and ENP early to get some
photos, but my work called and I had to go in early to take care of a problem. I
didn't get down to the area until 8:30. Things were fairly quiet at Lucky
Hammock and the Annex. Farmers were working in the field and so I didn't see
much there, only a few raptors and Gnatcatchers. I decided to head to Mahogany
Hammock for a look. I only saw a few warblers, a GCFC and a Blue-headed Vireo.
It was a nice morning, but I'm sure I missed a lot by being late.
There was one bird I wanted you guys to see. Maybe you can tell me what is on
the side of this Blue-grey Gnatcatcher.
Blue-Grey Gnatcatcher
The Gnatcatcher has some kind of clip or something like that on its side. Anyone
ever seen this before.
Dragonfly ???
Great Crested Flycatcher
Kestrel
American Crow
