Went to wakodahatchee this past Sunday to take some photographs. the weather was outstanding. As probably everyone is aware, the great blue herons are back and the five nests they have established are in various stages - from nest building to incubation. also saw two little blue herons, and a number of tricolors. There were great and snowy egrets and ibis white and glossy all feeding together in the north east corner of the boardwalk. the catch basin at exit 81 is filled with scaup and blue winged teals. was happy to see that wakodahatchee is having Photo Days on Jan 24th, Feb 9, and Feb 21 from 6AM to 11Am. The joggers and walkers will not be allowed until after 11Am. to everyone who will be on the Audubon walk at wakodahatchee this weekend I hope you will see many different species.
