Liz, if you and your daughter are planning to do some birding on your own while in Miami, a good source for local birding sites is the "locations" page on our web site. If you're hoping to see specific birds, check the "specialties" page.

: My daughter and I will have an opportunity to come down to Miami (South Beach) at the end of March. We hope to join the TAS group for the 1/2 day walk in Matheson Hammock Park for the morning of April 1.
: Can anyone suggest any other birding hotspots that we shouldn't miss in our very short stay? We would like to see and photograph as many of your tropical birds as we can, that we don't get to see here in Canada. We are amateur birders and are members of several birding associations here. We would appreciate any assistance and information, thank you.
