Correction re: Yellow-bellied Sapsucker plumage progression

An immature Yellow-bellied Sapsucker first appeared on the West Indies Mahogany in our west Miramar back yard. It showed some plumage progression as illustrated in the these photos. On January 18, after disappearing for 5 days I thought it had molted into sub-adult plumage but this turned out to be a second bird which I now believe to be an adult female. On January 28 both appeared at once and they fought fiercely. The immature bird apparently won the battle as it stayed on the tree and the adult did appear briefly on February 1. This is to correct the my error in believing that the original bird had completed its molt on January 18. It has shown plumage progression as is evident in the FLICKR series at the link. Here it is today:
